happy thursday, kittens!

today, i’m sharing my little collab with boohoo.com.  they asked me to choose a dress from their collection based on my personal style icon – jane birkin.  if you don’t know who jane is, get educated ladies.  first, she’s a babe.  second, her style.  effortless, minimal, masculine/feminine – a beautiful mix of wide leg trousers, basics, and sexy little shift dresses.  plus, great hair.  i chose this dress (c/o – thank you, boohoo!) because it exudes that boho/jane birkin/60s/70s-vibe.

everything i wear doesn’t put me in the league of women.  if i were a boy, i could look a lot prettier than a lot of boys i know. – jane birkin

who’s your style icon?

  1. Marisa Berenson. Total hottie (then and now) with killer boho/70s style still at close to age 70. And lately lady, you! Everything is so predicable and boring right now in blog land. Your style makes me want to dig back to my roots and embarrass my husband with my extra long flares, flowy dresses and platforms. #wcw :)

    • oh, you stop it! but seriously, thank you – that means a lot! i try not to be predictable. i like what i like, i wear what i wear. there’s no “formula” so to speak. meaning – i’m not shilling products or trying to be so “on-trend.” a lot of the stuff i style/wear is stuff that i’ve had in my closet for years. i’m just attempting to make it look like it’s current. ha!

  2. You look stunning in this colorful printed dress! I love every thing that you’re wearing, especially these wonderful sky-high shoes :)

    • thank you! i bought them at f21 a couple of years ago. i couldn’t afford the j campbells. but guess what? i always get compliments on these and they’ve held up well!

  3. Love this look! Seriously, this looks like so many things I have been pinning lately! You pull it off so well!
